Sanmita Partners with Cornell’s Boyce Thompson Institute

Sanmita is pleased to welcome one of our newest clients, Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research located on Cornell University’s campus, to our growing roster of academic clients. This partnership is particularly exciting because BTI will be using Sanmita‘s exclusive AcademicsWeb CMS (content management system).

Sanmita will be working with BTI to streamline their digital communications to increase awareness about BTI’s 17 faculty-run research laboratories and the impact of their discoveries. BTI’s research aims to speed the development of sustainable agriculture, healthier food production, and alternative energies through research into basic plant research. Their faculty researchers look into what mechanisms plants use to grow, to defend themselves from disease and insects, to use water, and to react to stress.

In addition, Sanmita will provide ongoing technical support for the BTI website.

Sanmita is thrilled to put the power of AcademicsWeb to use for BTI. Our exclusive, customizable CMS will allow BTI staff to easily update and administer their website.

The Sanmita team has more than a decade experience building websites for our higher education clients. Along the way, we’ve learned the features that they need — and the ones that they don’t. We’ve taken that experience and built a flexible, dynamic CMS that allows for websites that are rich with information and multimedia. In addition, we provide training and ongoing support to help our clients use AcademicsWeb to its fullest potential.

We know just how good the CMS is because we use AcademicsWeb to manage our own Sanmita website!

BTI’s dynamic website is live and continues to be improved. Sanmita looks forward to continuing our work with BTI as they move to AcademicsWeb and refines their digital presence.
